Rangers Game

We are spoiled.  Two weekends in a row, two professional texan sporting events.

This one we just lucked out.  Our friends called Saturday- he works for ESPN and had some extra tickets for that night's game if we wanted to go.

Of course we accepted.  We had a great time with them and their other friends and have decided that is the only way to watch a baseball game in Texas!  We got to sit in a suite and were wined and dined.

We figured if we were having a little deja vu action, we'd start it off right and kicked the outing off at Jimmy John's again

Ruby got to come with us to this game and she did great- staying up a couple hours past her normal bedtime and waving to everyone who would "ooh" and "ahh" at her.

Had to take one of the AT&T Stadium again...

Diana and Reed, the friends who invited us, have been amazing since we moved to Texas.  Long story short, Diana works in one of the front offices Parker works with and when she found out we were moving to Texas she asked where.  Turns out we were moving into the same apartment complex where they live!  Reed was made our Home Teacher pretty quickly too so we feel like we've been able to get to know them pretty well pretty quickly.  They have always been great about calling us and making us feel welcome.

I know our faces are incredibly dark, but we had to have a family shot in front of the field.  It really was pretty.  Weird to say about a baseball field?  Maybe, but doesn't change the fact.

Go Rangers!  They won in a very close game so that's great too!
