BTE

Tanner Scott, Parker, Daniel Bjarnson, and Spencer Ricks

When Parker was nineteen years old he served a two year mission for our church in Edmonton, Canada.  Every six weeks they have exchanges or transfers and a new group of missionaries will come to the mission while another group goes home.

Now days-- or at least in the Dallas and Fort Worth missions-- it seems each tranfer of missionaries is huge with 30+ young men and young women.  But back in the day, Parker's transfer consisted of four boys.  They came to be known as the "Best Transfer Ever" (aka BTE).  At least to themselves ;)

They really are an incredible group of men though, and every time we come to Utah- especially during the holidays- we try to get together with them.  Dan Bjarnson (above) actually isn't an official part of the BTE, but he's sort of an adopted member.  Devin Belliston and his little family live in Florida so it has been a while since they've been to our little get togethers.

Sure lucky Parker had such a good group of guys to help see him through some hard days and cold weather.  And to make some funny memories and incredible lasting frienships with.
