Splash Pad

One of the other things I really wanted to do with Ruby while we were in Utah was go to Liberty Park’s splash pad… I thought she would love it!  So we got all ready in her swim gear and went to meet cute Winnie and Sara Davis at the park.  

My mom and Phil were around so they joined us on this adventure too!  So lucky we got to spend so much time with them!

Unfortunately for us, though, Ruby was not a fan of this outing.  Like at all.  If she wasn’t crying and whining, she was just meh…

Couldn’t even get her to crack a grin.  Winnie seemed to like it a lot though and it was great to see those two cute girls so I’m still definitely glad we went!  Sara is expecting her second little baby (a boy!) any day now- we are beyond thrilled for her, but loved our last little “girls only” outing!

 We walked over to the little water streams that map out the rivers and canyons throughout Utah and both our little girls seemed to like that.  Winnie loved scooting on her bum all the way down the river, Ruby loved sitting at the top and clapping and splashing.

Hey, we’ll take what we can.
